Ekron River National Park Planning and Execution
Type of project: Extensive combined with Tourist projects
Area: 4,000 dunams
Master plan, declaration of the river and detailed plans for the implementation of about 40 km of river channels flowing in the territories of 6 regional and local councils. Planning, management, fundraising and close supervision of the implementation of about 16 km. The park will create connectivity between the areas of the councils, the park combines ecological restoration and the revitalization of the streams, creating ecological parks and slopes, creating tourist attractions and preserving the open areas for the benefit of future generations. The project is planned in collaboration with the Drainage Authority, the Brenner Regional Council, the Gezer Regional Council, the Kiryat Ekron Local Council and the Mezkeret Batia Local Council, the Hebel Yavne Regional Council and the Gedera Local Council.
